Machinery
D6T LGP with rippers and trimble 3D GPS
Works
- D6T using trimble gps placing clay fill from adt’s in 225mm layers forming building footprint
- D6T then rips hard ground and cuts the service yard formation to specific level and used horizontal off set on gps to cut dock walls
- Once all of the service yard was cut and building formation up to level, terram is rolled out and type1 granite layer placed on top to client specification

Machinery
D6N LGP D5K LGP using Trimble 3D UTS system
Works
- After existing concrete road surface removed, dozer used to push up any remains ready for excavation.
- Once excavated down, dozers then used to trim road box formation to correct level ready for testing.
- Then used to backfill road box in 225mm layers of crushed recycled concrete up until surcharged height ready for MG grader to final trim.
- UTS system used due to poor signal strength at site location and fine tolerance required.

Machinery
CAT D5K LGP and D6N LGP both with Trimble 3D GPS system
Works
- Topsoil strip
- Cut and fill material to form building footprint and service yards
- Soil stabilisation then used to achieve correct CBR testing. Formation trimmed within 20mm tolerance using Trimble GPS.
- Formation then covered with granite type 1 to correct level and trimmed to client specification.
- Attenuation tanks then excavated and D5K used to backfill narrow hole once tank in place.

D5K LGP AND SCARRIFIER WITH TRIMBLE 2D LASER SYSTEM
Works
- Using D5K scarifier to initially break hard ground ready to trim formation
- Then bench to correct level using 2D laser, we push off surcharge of stone into heaps to be loaded away by excavator.
- Once bulk is pushed off, we trim to 10mm below finish level ready for MG grader to add dust layer.
- We use Trimble 2D laser system inside enclosed shed due to poor signal and need for fine tolerance.

Machinery
CAT D6N LGP WITH TRIMBLE 3D GPS SYSTEM
Works
- Top soil strip
- Cut road and batters down to required level, then fill low areas with excavated material up to verge level.
- Road box then excavated and trimmed with dozer to formation level, the sides of the road box are cut and formed using the GPS horizontal offset feature.
- The road box is then filled back with type 1 granite and surcharged ready to be trimmed for tarmac.

CAT D5K LGP AND D6N LGP BOTH WITH TRIMBLE 3D GPS SYSTEM
Works
- Strip existing bank of all topsoil and vegetation.
- Bench into existing bank, first layer was drainage blanket made up of imported sand. Using Trimble GPS to achieve corrected level and tolerance.
- Then form each layer then on with clay in exact 225mm layers. Clay then puddled, compacted, and tested before next layer could be added.
- Dozers then repeat this process until reaching crest height.
- Dozers then used to cut clay batters to the correct gradient.
- Topsoil pushed back over and trimmed to finish.

CAT D5K LGP WITH TRIMBLE 3D GPS SYSTEM
Works
- Road dug out then trimmed to formation level and geo grid rolled out.
- Dozer then pushes out stone on the way in using GPS to correct height.
- D5K narrow blade perfect to get road correct width of 4m from toe of batter.
- Once road stoned up, we then turn round and trim the road on our way out to a fine tolerance.
- Any topsoil verges and passing bays are scarified and regraded to allow grass growth.

D6N LGP WITH TRIMBLE GPS
Works
- Top soil strip
- Cut and fill to form building footprint, service yards, and access roads
- Soil stabilisation then used to achieve correct CBR testing. Formation trimmed within 20mm tolerance using Trimble GPS.

Machinery
2 D6N BOTH WITH TRIMBLE 3D GP
Works
- D6N using Trimble brought in to retrim formation to correct height
- Then cover formation with stone to client specification ready for pile mat.
- Once all piling done, stone regraded pushing off contaminated clay and limestone from granite type 1 and topped up to finished client specification.
- Attenuation tanks then excavated, dozer trims tank floor to specific level. Tank crates installed then dozer fills over with material in 225mm layers back up to formation.

COLLINS EARTHWORKS LTD
Machinery
CAT D6N WITH TRIMBLE 3D GPS SYSTEM
Works
- Site underwent topsoil strip, followed by material excavation from service yards, with fillings in building up to formation height using ADTs.
- Utilized GPS for precise formation trimming, preparing it for ground stabilisation, and subsequent cement rotovation for further refining.
- Post-stabilisation, the formation is covered and shaped using granite type 1 stone.
- Empty burrow pits transformed into balancing ponds with GPS-guided gradient and shape formation.
